4 months since i last updated.. sorry about that.

just to share with you guys (whoever who reads or checks this blog out anyway) that i've recently moved in to a new place.

not that far from the previous one, so i'll still get to see my BFFFFFFFFF when she's back from Aussie!

here're some pics of what my new place looks like.

i love it very much.

previously, it had a lil wiring problem when i first came in. the cooling liquid (or whatever which makes the air cold) goes to my housemate's air conditioning unit if i turn my on, resulting to just normal room temperature air coming out from my unit, unless he turns his unit on, then mine will actually work just fine. what i just said might be a lil too difficult for those people with low IQ to follow. but now ITS OKAY!!!

my oven. while i'm posting this post, i'm also currently baking Hazel FC's famous cool-kies (cookies), which unfortunately, is a disaster cause of the stupid brand of butter i'm using (and not the trusted FERN butter).

the house is great, airy, wide, spacious, though a lil far from the MRT station, but there are pros and cons. the WORST part of it is...

holy shit.

i actually did propose to the landlord that i paid half of the installment of a seated "jamban", which is a good deal for them cause if they were to rent it out again, the owner could bargain for a higher price. the answer i got from the landlady (landlord's wife, duh) was "no, sorry. i dont want to change this toilet too. (master bedroom's toilet is a seat type too). i want to keep one where i can SQUAT and s***."

went for fried kuay teow (msian style)

and wantan mee (msian style) for one lunch.

haven't update this page for the longest time...even the chatterbox's missing now (hooray!)

here's a summary of what happened during the period of my absentism here...

...had a memorable eve, the day itself, and the day after, on my 24th..

...had dinner at a restaurant with an ex colleague of mine being the CDP for the day..

...together with another ex colleague of mine, who's lovely 24/7 (ah huh).

...met another ex colleague of mine (aka my BFFFFFFF)who got back from australia who's real foxy(i call her musang)

...went back to KL, played futsal and football once, but didnt get to play the following day. also, met up with Alvin, one of my buds from college.

...met my new-born nephew who celebrated his first month. my bad that i didn't get him anything to play with.

late post.... anyway i was back at KL...TWO WEEKS AGO. but the good thing about it was, it was for TWO DAYS!

i was the in-charge of the boutique on Sunday morning...and since it was Ricky's last day, i thought it would be nice to give him a chance to be a barista, since he didnt have the chance to ever be one. everyone should be given a chance to step into bar, even though that person's a blur cock, or spasticated and retarded, and a good example for all of those stated will be none other than Ricky himself.

rushed straightttttttt to Larkin to catch a bus. I wanted to get ticket from the Konsortium ticket booth, but a man came up to me and said "ada bus sekarang, sekarang." bloody "sekarang sekarang" buses...DONT EVER ENTERTAIN THEM! HEED MY ADVICE!

reached back at KL, took the LRT home, went for supper with seong and nick. and that was how sunday ended.

went for lunch on monday with miss teoh at 1utama... and there i bumped into my old roommate, CK. been a long time since i saw that fool. 1utama (or malaysia) has the best ways to categorize things.

went to the buka puasa evening market at TTDI with seong and jack to get some lovely malay food which i miss sooooooooo much. hated the smoke and dust from all the cooking of the food though.

it's been quite a while since i posted a PROPER post. truth is, either i'm prolly too busy with other stuff, or i just dont have anything to write about.

the recent few weeks saw many of the part timers resigning, leaving us because of several reasons that i might know of.

a) couldn't cope on juggling work with studies..
b) parents getting pissy with them.
c) goin off for studies.
d) sick and tired of me.

Well i'm not sure about option D, but the guys back in Malaysia might find it very true given the chance if the situation were to be football instead of work.

It's pretty sad to see them leaving. But as they leave, new ones come in. And when this happens, those leaving will tend to think "ohh okay, i'm leaving, they'll forget me in like a week or so". Maybe, but not all people do think that way. In fact i think nobody will forget about anybody, unless you're plain retarded.

Here's to those who've left us at the outlet, but not us in us.

the long week

look, i didnt mean to procrastinate, but hey we're all human, and humans are always busy, except for maybe some who tend to act as though they're busy, or maybe some ARE busy, with unproductive stuff or just stuff which try to make them feel busy. but hey, i was busy.

i was suddenly given a 6 day off, or in other terms, forced to take a 6 day off. it was quite sudden, just a 2 days in advance notice, couldnt really plan my break even though it was already being well planned in my mind.

i was lucky to get the last ticket on the First Coach bus on a Monday morning. UNFORTUNATELY, i overslept and woke up 3 hours late, and i had to go down all the way to Johor to get a bus up to KL. my fave alternative, Konsortium, had no tickets left, thanks to the school hols. so, my last resort was to take one of those "KL SEKARANG SEKARANG!!" buses which we really dread. i was lucky to get one of those proper ones which do not make 5 stops elsewhere to pick up other passengers.

laptop on my lap. which lasted less than an hour.

reached KL about 4pm+, had to walk on the busy streets, and i when i mean walk on, i really did mean walk on.
MONDAY NIGHT! what's on during monday night? well, other than dinner, i had to go out to stretch my legs.

my first love

tuesday was a random day itself. i was supposed to have lunch with a friend of mine, but in the end, the only person eating was me, and i got robbed from my fries at BK. luckily the fries weren't that good haha.

that's my hand, and that's BK's "pepper" for the fries. that's for porridge, dumb nuts.

lunch was fun, even though we're always clueless on choosing on where to eat. wait, i think that only happens to me. if only lunch breaks were a lil longer.

tuesday night's just like monday night. the difference is, it's a different pitch. =)

my second love.

wednesday's a lil crazy. went to KL with jin hoe for some window shopping and to check out for something i crave for (ask me about it, it's crazy). brought him to the paul frank store in pavillion, and i kinda influenced him to get this shirt i would love to buy but not wear it out. then, we went to low yat to get his 1 TERRABYTE hard disk. geek.

i'll never forget KL's stupid traffic jam. i was stuck for 1 1/2 hours in the car with jin hoe, i wouldn't want to see him for my next 10 trips back to KL. just kidding. this was the night when malaysia's government decided to decrease the subsidy for petroleum. which means every other car in the country were on the road, not because they want to be on the road, but just to get to the nearest gas station to fill up! AND THEN, the guys and i HAD to pick this day to go to have seafood at Klang. worst of all, we were also lost about 2 hours cause we took another way to get there, which we were not even certain of ourselves.

4 pigs, reached there about 11, got everything down in less than an hour.

thursday. was the day when the night was supposed to take place. but too bad, it was cancelled. instead of a dinner for two, we guys went out again to the night market, and to my usual laksa stall.

wickedly sick food.

and i thought my previous trip back to KL was bad because of the fever i caught. that was till after my laksa, which i felt kinda weird. popped 3 panadols and went to sleep.

friday. had the worst fever i've ever had, seriously. couldn't walk straight, bed ridden for the whole day, hot and cold at the same time, blablabla, sums up to terrible experience.

saturday. last day. felt better than the previous two days. went to a shopping mall for some window shopping. and got myself a belt. that wasn't window shopping. wanted so much to get another java chip for myself, but kinda paranoid that i'll just drop on the floor frothing.

we planned a last game of futsal on the last day itself. unfortunately chee seong had to have supper the previous night, which got him into trouble. LOADS of trouble. his second time having stomach discomfort haha. was so bad, that if he were to drink a glass of water, he would puke water out.

last but not least.

that week was fun. well, except that day when i got abandoned. and the other day when i got sick. if only i could get another week off.....fat chance. will be back at KL on the second week of June.

and sorry that i've took such a long time to post this up and also update my blog.

after a few times of tryin to get a weekend off (do not count my sister's wedding), it's finally approved! thankfully i was able to get a bus ticket to KL on that friday evening itself, still had to scurry back home to get some last minute packing done.

couldnt decide on what to get for dinner...ended up gettin a box of 6 donuts for fun, with the flavour that was said to be nice. ohh, i took 2 of the same donut.

i was so wet, my jerseys were soaked. if only a girl said that.

got back home, took a shower, and had supper at Murni @ SS2.

Went over to the post office and screwed those lazy faggots about my parcels yet again. had a walk at sunway pyramid, got myself a new pair of earrings to replace the ones i dropped at singapore. got myself a haircut too. went for a stroll at the Curve with Leon, Jack and Chee Seong for no reason. wanted to have bak kut teh for dinner, but the shop was closed $#^%@ ended up goin to pasar malam at SS2 and to the hawker stalls for a plate of malaysian char kuay teow and a bowl of malaysian lin chee kang.

9pm. FUTSAL! the once feared Jo Han joined us that night, who was once fat and dangerous, is now fat and lazy.

my plan to go back to KL on the 23rd failed. even worse, my plan to go back to KL on this month failed. why? cuz

a) i forgot to submit my request for my leaves.
b) stock count is coming and i can't take a break during that weekend.

ohh well, my package from US hasn't arrive yet, just paranoid whether it's stuck somewhere, or the dumb postmen probably sent it somewhere, or they probably stole it for themselves, dickheads.

yeah i bet you all had a great CNY holiday, well, at least you're not working like i was. my fault anyway, i offered to stay back to help out during the hols. too bad that my leave was carried forward from the original dates that i planned.

anyway, i had to rush to catch the bus to KL and in the 1 hour span i had between leaving my workplace and getting up to the bus, i had to collect something which i paid for. was such in a rush, that i dropped the battery at the shop. felt sorry for the dealer at the shop, i was really furious and practically bitching at him on the phone (to see my expression, type ":@" on MSN, to those without MSN, type "i am a loser" on whatever program you have)

got back home, showered, and then went over to Su's house and played jimrami (dont know how to spell it), was a total failure at it. nothing much happened the next day, only gobbled up fried kuay teow, and "guai ling gou" with honey (yes, we BOUGHT honey for it, but it was CHEAP honey and it didnt go well with it). evening was obviously reserved for football, even though we lost to the indonesians (heck, only 5 of us + kids), it's undescribable just being able to play football again.

next day, went down to pavillion to check for a shirt, unfortunately that outlet didnt have that shirt... ohh and i had a glimpse of the other bus company that i might have travelled with more than First Coach..

Sunday 16th.

had to rush back from work (scheduled to work from 9-6, but we always leave 2 hours later lol). went on to sort out the songs in my new gadget for my upcoming trip back home, and then rushed again to Larkin, Johor for my bus back. fotunately, i acquired the last seat on the 11.30 bus.

and just when i thought i was lucky.

i was stuck over at some part at johor bahru for over 1 1/2 hours. there was this bloody jam on the highway which was caused by a bloody flood following the recent heavy downpours over the last few days.

fast forward time ----> and i reach KL at about 6am. Fabian, Chee Seong and Nick were waiting for me at pudu raya. we went back to PJ to have a dim sum for breakfast.

nothing much to talk about my trip at KL, this is what i bought.

describable by 3S : sleek, soft and sweet. they were designed so perfect, that they could be used as aircraft wings as well. boots were so soft that they probably used the hides of cows which are slaughtered for Kobe Beef. i'm just saying that they look sweet though, i didn't taste them. 5.30pm, time for football. instead of our usual game against our rivals in the field, we had to team up with them to play against a bunch of myanmmar men. these fellas probably adored Tony Jaa. with all their high leg actionz, it was like Ong Bak for real at the field. we were trashing them 3-0 until one of our players (Dino) had to score an own goal. game ended 3-1, and it wasnt that fun to play especially when you're playing 20 vs 20.

went to KL again to check out for the Eastpak pouch i'm looking for, till i ended up goin to the main Eastpak distributor of Malaysia. the chap in charge of Deuter was a real lad, helpin me check for colors and stocks of the pouch. for the time being, they only have Camo colored instead of the prefered black. i'll have to call up next month after they're done doing stock take.

met up with miss ju for a short drink cause she had to rush her thesis and study for her exam on the following day, NERD!

the last night for futsal. i had dinner with my parents, sis and bro in law. rushed for futsal after that, had fun (as usual).

Monday.3rd dec 07.

hong kim (HK), a friend of mine since diploma arrived at singapore for his 2 days trip. being a guy who loves making empty promises, he suprisingly kept to this one that he will come visit before leaving for Macau. at night, we met up with CK over at his workplace, and went on for late supper whereby HK tried the fried kuey teow over here. needless to say, most malaysians will find a major difference between the singaporean and malaysian versions.

to start off, we woke up kinda early that day, about 9am. he was raring to go to check out singapore and the malls for one thing : a crumpler bag for his laptop.

we head off to orchard at about 11+ and stopped by at marriott to look for Goh, one of our diploma classmates as well. well, actually, we were gonna look for the HR exec over at marriott FIRST, then look for Goh. too bad for us, Goh had a training session conducted by the HR exec ( $*(&#!@*). soon after checking out Tangs, we head off to Wheelock Place, to one of the crumpler stores which is located in it.

as soon as we reached Wheelock, Goh decided to join us for a short while.

we had a chat while looking at the bags over at crumpler, and good ol goh reserved a table for buffet in marriotts later in the evening. of all the days my wisdom tooth had to be such a pain in the ass. wheelock's store lacked the choices of color, so we went to Paragon to look at the other outlet at orchard. there, HK desperately bought his bag haha.

next station, city hall interchange. passengers going towards bugis, pasir ris or changi airport, please alight and transfer at the next station (that's how the mrt goes). well yeah, we did stop at city hall, to meet up with ANOTHER diplomamate, Noreena. we caught up with her after her work, and she spent us a round of SB coffee which she claimed was on the house (hope it's not from her pocket)

didnt have much time to update the blog, been procrastinating most of the time, plus i've been working like crazy during the recent month. thanks to the store manager, Dez, i've been allowed to train as a barrista. no thanks to Dez tho, i've been given the opportunity to open in the morning a smaller outlet of ours haha. i WAS supposed to update it yesterday, but i have this bloody terrible toothache goin on for a few days, and it gets worse during sleeping hours. probably not as bad as sharing a single bed.

back to the topic of the post.

a fortnight ago, i went to Queensway Shopping Centre, over at Queenstown. to my disbelief, it was just like Pertama Complex in KL. a whole building, mostly dedicated to selling sports apparel and equipment. not to forget, fake ones too (that's what i heard). well, i went in lookin for a futsal shoe, for the reasons that a) my previous one is hell of useless and tearing apart, and b) it's a girl's shoe ahaha (seriously, i wasn't aware when i bought it)

it was either a Nike Vapour or Nike Tiempo. i've talked to a few shop owners about which to choose, most of them opted for the Tiempo, cause it's longer lasting compared to a Vapour, which they said it's usually for casual use cause it's not as durable as a Tiempo.

after a few rounds in the mall and most of the time getting lost, i've finally made a decision and bought one.

what i like about the shoes is the shoelace protectors, which have a bull emblazoned on each of them. according to another store manager of mine, Jeremy, the owner of this shop which is a close buddy of his goes to Nike conventions around the world and get limited edition stuffs out of them. golly me, i grabbed one of those limited edts (tried surfing the net to search for these but they didnt come up, hell no i'm not buying fake ones)

thankfully, the shoes came together with WHITE shoelaces, so i decided to sit down at home and did what i missed doing during high school, putting on shoelaces onto a shoe. and the result...

and from then on, i've never touched or worn the shoe yet. lol.

left early at 6am, without having any sleep the day before. went to sleep right away on the bus, had some short naps due to the COMFORTABLE seat i had. upon reaching to KL, had a stop by at KLCC to get my tie, and also to meet up with my degree buddy Ben. had a light chat, and went straight back home.

there was gonna be a family gathering over at my place later at night, but heck, i wont miss the chance of getting some football actionz first while i'm over here DOH!

BIG BIG DAY, well, not for me, but for my sister. why? cause it's the day that she'll no longer be known as miss loke.

the day started off early around 8am when everyone got up and got busy. i woke up at 9am just to move to another room to sleep for 2 more hours. anyways, after gettin my sleep and dressin up, we did final preparations to welcome the groom aka my bro-in-law.

Goh (my collegemate) had a day off, and asked if i wanted to follow him back to his hometown for a day. a day away from this country? i thank god for letting me know Goh.

the trip took about 2 hours from Larkin station at JB, and when we arrived, Goh's mum came to pick us up to have lunch over at their place.

after lunch, Goh took me for a tour of Muar.

it's a lovely city/town with cars and no MRT around, and very much traditional without all the tall buildings and crap apartments and flats. Goh showed me the places where all the nice houses are built and a park where monkeys rule the area (public gangsters, forgot to take a picture of them). after half an hour of driving, he took me for a snack at the riverside.

good stuff to eat, all 3 dishes definitely and obviously taste way better than those i have in SG haha. after gobbling them down, we went on for another tour.

next up was an area where Goh said that there was a Chinese territory where no Malays would dare to step into. he said that once the Malay goes in, they'll end up as fertilizer for the Chinese farms hahaha, i dont think it's urban legend bullshit, probably happened during the May 13 incident. after the short drive, we head on for food again. this time, it's char kuey teow woohoo!

it's a side stall where Goh has been a regular over here since his schooling days. he said it's popular and usually there're alot of people who line up just to wait for him for their takeaways and eat ins. and there's only one table, so we were lucky to have the table as others there were only taking away.

after getting the boxed otak-otak, we went to buy Muar's famous strip otak-otaks. the shop was actually closed, but Goh told the owner that who his mum is, and in no time, the owner gave Goh a big bag of otak-otak. apparently his mum's famous in Muar haha. we head back home and nipped on most of it. after that, we prepared to go out for dinner.

but before dinner, Goh wanted to bring me for o-chien (fried oyster). too bad for us, either the shop's closed or it'll open later in the evening. so we had a bowl of red bean desert and wheat (gandum).

after dinner, Goh and i went to meet up with his ex, and we head on for a drink over at a shop which sells bubble tea, the name's kinda harajuku-kawaineh, Witchen-something. and that shop IS kinda filled with harajuku fans, but there were chicks as well haha.

we chilled till late, sent his ex home, and so we head back to his home. UNFORTUNATELY, something bad happened to me soon after that.

it was saturday and CK and i were dead bored. decided to go apply for internet line, but we had to go meet up with a friend of CK for lunch first.

on the MRT, i noticed something gay. or depressing, or desperate for attention, or all 3, or add any other word that you could think of.

we started off from Somerset station, walking across Canning Park, a park situated between City Hall and Dhoby Gaut stations. pretty neat park, the government really spends at greening the environment, but people rarely use them haha.

he was happy to leave his former hell hole Genting, but unfortunately landed his ass into a bigger hell hole, singapore lol. he needed help to search for a room to rent, and who did he come to for help? the wrong guy, me. why? a newbie helping a newbie, lets get dangerous!

didnt really do much on saturday, except making calls to some agents to check on available rooms, same case on sunday, we couldnt get to view any rooms, and we had nothing to do on that nite so we went for a stroll down orchard road.

monday. the fun begins. made calls again like the past two days, but this time we had the chance of seeing a room at Dhoby Gaut, a station away from his future working place. we met up with this agent named CJ, probably initials for his name, nice indian chap, arent all real estate agents? when we reached the block where the room was, first thought was "not bad la...". so CJ brought us up to the room, actually, brought us up, walked half the block, went down a stairs, that's where we arrived at the lot. he kept insisting that the landlord is a nice fella and keeps the place simple and tidy...so as we entered...simple IS DEFINITELY the word to describe it. whole place was empty, and damn it was simple. "ok" was what i told raymond, till we got to the room he asked for.

next word in my mind : "OKAAAY". the room was like some medieval age room during the times when the Holy War began, tiles are ancient, bed IS ancient, walls are ancient, closet ...well, present. and CJ had to brag about the closet, tapping at it while saying "it's a good closet, you can keep alot of things in it". ok thanks for upselling the closet, how bout we check out the rest of the house?

we were snoozing until we got a knock on our door followed with "IKEA". suprisingly my roommate CK woke up to get the door, especially when he wont even budge even if someone robs the house. two chinese santa clauses entered dragging in our new bought stuffs, two beds! we were stingy, cause if we got them to set it up for us, it'll be 20% of the receipt.

the manual provided wasnt so confusing, although at first we had a bad start cause both of us had half opened eyes, but we managed to sort things out in no time.

took us about an hour to set up both frames, nothing much to elaborate about it tho.

after getting them up and ready, CK gave it a test.

i felt like i was in heaven when i returned to Malaysia. apart from having smelly people in the bus and painfully noisy ones who let their handphones ring for a few times and then only answering the call (everyone has nokia tune on their phone you dick). the journey home was boring, thanks to the sudden KO of my mp3 player (note: unplug mp3 player if laptop is turned off).

so, upon reaching KL, i met up with seongboi and co for a late nite treat @ nasi kayu kandar, THAT'S REAL PROPER NASI KANDAR, SINGAPORE! sorry, no pic of what i ate, handphone was low on battery, anyway i took the famous ayam madu, as usual.

had a wild night with it haha. way better than the one in singapore

friday. went to college for the rehearsal of the convocation, what a f***ing boring day. went on to play footballomgimisseditsomuchstupidsingapore. went on to go out on friday, till late at nite.

saturday. woke up early for the convocation, it took kinda long jeez from 9am till 12pm+. i forgot to upload my camera's pics into my laptop UGH!!!!!!!!!! here's the only one i've got from the convo, courtesy of lin tze!

had to run errands after the convo, didnt get to play football on that evening, i've sinned. dropped like a rock for 20 minutes on the bed (ol' school hantu, kelvin ho knows what i'm talking about.) and had to prepare for the graduation ball.

we had fun during the ball even though they served us crap food (except the pasta), and also the waaaaaaaay chilly table that mr Ravi decided to sit at.

some went to Rush @ Eastin hotel after the party, while some of us went to Bamboo over at TTDI Plaza for a drink. i'm placing my bets at TTDI Plaza to be one of the new hotspots for people who want to avoid over packed clubs with regular raids by our favourite policemen.

sunday. woke up early again to bake the famous cool-kies, recipe from Hazel's wannabe striker, Chan. gave away 50% of what i baked though haha!

after that, had to fix my futsal shoes, bought a futsal ball, a pump, and cadbury choc which melted towards the end of my day in KL so i had to leave it behind =( had lunch with seongboi and co again at jalan gasing's famous chicken rice shop, THAT'S CHICKEN RICE TO YOU SINGAPORE! reached home at 6.20, got sounded by parents cause bus leaves at 7pm lol. didnt get to have a proper dinner at home, stuffed the home cooked food into my mouth and went off to IBM tower to take the bus. the bus was supposed to be good, unfortunately the driver decided to play some fancy thai song which was noisy, and later on played Grasshoppers' (canto boy band) concert on the tv WTF!!!!!! to top it all, I FORGOT MY MP3 PLAYER OMG!!!!

wont be goin back to KL for the next 2 months, shrug. i'm gonna miss PJ, my family, my bed, my turtle, football sessions, proper food, my car bleh.

woke up at 11am feelin like an ass, with the sun shining brightly into the bloody room. took a shower, picked hong kim up to watch Simpsons the movie the 12.40 screening.

well the movie wasn't that bad, but wasn't really that good too. i guess my expectation was kinda high since everyone said it was really funny. it's still funny to me though, seriously! or prolly i had lack of sleep and i was hungry and had a phobia for over dosage of popcorns. for people who dont really fancy slapstick and simple jokes, save your money and go watch some other lousier film.

so, came back home at 3pm, and rushed to clean the house from top to bottom, even the yard. why? cause the family's coming back from their vacation, while i had my solitary peaceful time at home, ahhhhhhhh! became a one man army for 2 hours doin everythin from mopping till feeding the turtle. and while typing this out, i finally realise that i forgot to feed the fishes and also wash the cars, bloody hell.

5th August. The Day We Shone

Sunday. started the day off waking up at 7.30am, meeting up with the other 7 members of the team for the tournament held at Sports Barn, PJ. the tournament was for the Piala Wong Sai Hou, and the winner of the tournament represents the district (i think) in the upcoming futsal tournament.

hear me now. 24 teams. the top two of each group will qualify for Piala A, which is the main prize, and the bottom two of each groups will go to Piala B. so what're the prizes like?

here's the results of our matches.

Group stage

first game : walkover (opponent overslept i guess) opponents : Kenanga FC
second game : 1-0 (win) opponents : All Blacks
third game : 2-0 (lost) opponents : Wannabes B

anyways we qualified for Piala A. for our quarter-final match, we played against Sky FC. we were dealt a blow when one of those dickheads elbowed our teammate Kenneth in the ribs, causing the game to stop in the last few minutes in the second half. He was then sent to University Hospital by our sponsor mr G.T, leaving us to go on to win the game 1-0 scored earlier in the match by me HAHA.

down to semi-finals, we had a game against M.U. no, not Manchester United, but Malayan University, bunch of tough malay fellas in light blue jerseys which looked a lil gay. we lead the game again thru a goal (me again omg), and then our opponent equalised through a mistake we made when they had a free kick. at 1-1, Chee Seng brought sexyback to us by scoring to make it 2-1 and brought us to the finals as we all went wild going to our second finals under the sponsorhip mr G.T!

FINALS

Hazel FC vs MICB (group of indian kids). respect to them, they defeated the defending champions in their semi-finals match. they were one bunch of speed demons, although pacy but according to our goalkeeper, their shots lack the power. both teams had many chances to lead the game, we were a lil pressured at first, and i missed two goals haha. we took a lead through Kenneth when he took a shot from in their half of the field, aiming at the near post with all the confusion going on as the keeper failed to see the ball until it hit the back of their net. after that, we played our defensive strategy and cleared the balls and went in for tackles. at the final whistle, all 8 members went crazy and roared out with joy, claps coming from every direction as the game ended. it was an exhilarating and tiring run to reach where we were, but it was well earned.

24th - The Journey
took First Coach to SG, thanks Su, the bus totally beats other stupid bus companies heh. while laming in the bus, i spotted somethin...

25th : The Move

woke up late about 11, and it drizzled, stupid weather. we're all shifting to a new flat over at Yio Chu Kang.

OKAY, so you cant really see the size of truck, but both of us were all the way at the back of it with all those stuffs there, and we had to do two trips just to bring everything over. best of all, we had to bring 'em up to the 5th floor, walk half a block to a stairs, go up a floor, and walk like a few steps to reach our new place. talk about slavery.

26th:The Hunt

bad start for a day, had friggin flu, thank god that after i stepped out of the flats, i've stopped sneezing, guess it's the bloody dust all over the stupid place even after all the mopping i've done. and it was raining AGAIN, checked out several places, got interviewed and filled some forms...didnt bring my passport out with me too, how smart can i get.

27th:The Return

RAINED AGAIN. FLU-ISH AGAIN. thought of goin job hunting again but got lazy, joshua, ck and i decided to have lunch together before they went off for work. went to the restaurant near our area, sat down and ordered our drink

auntie: what you want to drink? (in mandarin)

me: "shuet char"

auntie: tea? as in, teh "peng" that tea? (mandarin again)

3 of us explained what i wanted, which was the chinese tea which people from China drink.

auntie: ohh, that tea, cold or hot? (mandarin AGAIN)

me: cold please (in cantonese)

auntie: okay okay (uhh...mandarin/english?)

auntie: leave the tea first for a few minutes then pour the ice in =) (mandarin once more)

verdict: my life in singapore might end up like hell.

7.30pm bus, met up with Su, took the bus which was pretty decent at first, till it broke down after 30 minutes of journey, went back into johor bahru to get a change of the bus, and downgraded us from 3 seats a row, to the regular 4 seats a row. journey took about 8 hours to KL...luckily i sat beside someone i knew, otherwise i would have hijacked the bus and emulate Speed, the movie.

Conclusion : i'm prolly jinxed when it comes to travelling KL <> Singapore

Movie Review : Constantine

a simple review before i head down to the land of the expensive ciggies for a few days.

i flicked through my ol' dvds, and i stumbled across my fave of all times, Constantine. My dad was like "didn't you watch this movie a few times already?". Well anyways, dont blame me, blame the director for making such an uberly cool movie.

arguably the best comic reproduced onto the big screen, it wins my vote hands down. brilliantly played by Keanu Reeves especially in movies with suits and stuffs, and transformers kiddo shia labeouf, this movie is about a man trying to buy his way to heaven by wiping out demons who've been naughty on Earth. he just doesnt own demons, HE OWNS U.

thanks to the advanced technology bestowed upon us, Constantine is now available for download via Bittorrent. If you're feeling lazy to download, you might want to head down to the nearest illegal dvd seller. Your last resort will be borrowing my dvd, which i doubt i'll ever do.

Best line in the movie, good one for you to use in real life situations too.

PETS WONDERLAND OST?!?!?! no sorry to let you down, but it's an OST from Beck the anime. for those who havent seen that before, this anime series will convert you to a rock lover. the cd boasts the songs played in the anime series itself, best ones IMHO are Brainstorm, Slip Out, and Face. they also have a slowmo song for lovebirds, and a wannabe golden oldies tune too.

check this out if you're a rock lover / guitar fan. the bass is just funky.

back to back BBQs anyone? we met up at college, and the trio of soon lai, alex and kelly experienced a sausage buffet of their own. i think they had a couple of sausages to each other, like...15-20? HAHAHA.

locating mr.zam's place wasnt that tough, even though it was secluded (thank you sek. men. tropicana). locating mr.zan's apartment lot WAS tough (thanks to rick). unfortunately mr.zam didnt get to book the poolside pit, so the bbq was called off. but instead, we had a chance to try out our celebrity chef's culinary skills and it was some mad skillz indeed.

it didnt just stop there. first, it got ruined by a sudden rain but thank god it was during the late hours of the barbeque, so we went into the clubhouse and chilled, till alvin's family went off. from then on, people went into the swimming pool, both willingly and unwillingly. someone even bonked his head pretty good. too bad Henry's camcorder only recorded the dark, and voices.
